SUSTAINABILITY AT JOSH AND NICOL
At Josh and Nicol, we approach sustainability with honesty, responsibility, and constant evolution. We acknowledge the complex truth: fashion, by nature, isn’t entirely sustainable. But we believe in progress over perfection. Fashion is a form of self-expression, empowerment, and livelihood and we’re committed to doing it more consciously.
We don’t claim to be perfect, but we are intentional. From sourcing to production, we’re continuously making decisions that reduce waste, respect resources, and honour the people behind our pieces. Sustainability isn’t our marketing it’s our mindset. No greenwashing. Just grounded, transparent practices and a genuine desire to do better every season.
LIMITED RUNS. LASTING PIECES.
We produce in small, considered batches to avoid excess and overstock. Our pieces are designed to outlive trends crafted with care to be worn, re-worn, and loved for years. Every fabric we purchase is used intentionally. Nothing is discarded. Nothing goes to landfill.
FABRIC & MATERIALS
We’re actively expanding our use of lower-impact and responsibly sourced fabrics, including organic and certified textiles. We’re currently transitioning toward materials with reduced environmental footprints, and we hold ourselves accountable to keep improving.
WASTE REDUCTION
Our design process prioritizes fabric efficiency. We minimize off-cuts, avoid wasteful techniques, and look for smarter ways to produce beautiful garments without unnecessary loss. Uniqueness is embraced—no two garments are ever exactly the same.
SUPPLY CHAIN TRANSPARENCY
We work closely with trusted partners across the UK and globally to ensure our garments are made under fair and ethical conditions. We maintain direct relationships with our production teams and continuously assess how we can improve visibility, traceability, and impact throughout our supply chain.
